A little time with new friends

We recently spent 3 days with new friends. They came into town with much insight on how to do life here. They even took us shopping and gave us a lot of information on various things ... spices, authentic food ingredients, a recipe for great Chai tea, etc. We're thankful the Father brought them into our lives and look forward to the close relationship we will share with them for the next few months.

We learned a lot about various spices and other cooking ingredients...

And yes, we even found a version of SPAM ... not that we will be eating it. :)

The kids always enjoy the outings and the chance to meet new friends...

We've really developed a good relationship with the young man on the right. He works in the shoe department of this particular store and is always eager to talk to us.

We also found a "fresh meat" shop ... the people were so nice here - just not sure we'll ever get to this point!!

Doesn't get any fresher than this!! Note from the sign ... it is "the tastiest chicken in the world."
