Happy 13th Birthday!!

It's hard to believe our first born is now a teenager. The Father has blessed us richly with this amazing, cat-loving, chocolate-eating, piano-playing young lady. It was just yesterday that she was living her normal life as a little girl growing up in Arkansas ... playing soccer, dancing around in a tutu, and loving her cats. She continues to live her life for Him and has sacrificed her life of comfort and ease to live in a place that isn't so easy at times. We are so proud to be her parents and look forward to watching Him work through her life in the years to come.

We had a great time celebrating at Hard Rock with friends but enjoyed blowing out 13 candles before the night began!!

Hard to believe we're parents of a teenager!!

Hard Rock Cafe - what a GREAT night this was.

So glad that Pop and Nana got to be a part of her big night!!

The Father has given us such an incredible gift of friends!! We're thankful for those who were able to be there and celebrate Elizabeth's big day!

The birthday girl LOVED the nachos. The food was fabulous!!

She also got some really neat gifts...like Bath and Body lotion.

Blowing out the coolest candles EVER ... complete with fireworks and music (in the candle)!

Followed by her own personal plate of whipped cream ... with a cherry on top. Not sure who had more fun ... us or the wait staff. BTW, anyone who knows Elizabeth knows this isn't necessarily something she would have embraced, but she was a trooper and laughed along with the rest of us as they whip creamed her and sang Happy Birthday!! Last night was truly a gift!!

We recognize tonight as the gift it is. We are thankful that we are getting serve Him this way with our children.

This is a fun picture we took on the way back home ... the people here are SOOO nice, and the children are just precious!!

Oh how I wish I could have just "flew" over and spent the evening with my first born niece. Oh how I love that child (and the rest of your family). It looked like so much fun and the Jones clan thought of her all day! I love you guys and miss you all so much!!!!! :) Kiss Elizabeth, Noah and Emma for me and hugs for everyone.
