First full day out on the town

Noah is finally well, so we were able to get out and experience the city. We quickly grew to love the driver and the kids quickly grew to love this new way of riding from here to there!! We've often heard that the sights, sounds, and smells are all experienced to the nth degree here ... and today we saw why. We continue to love our new city and look forward to talking about the Light here!!

The cricket stadium in our city

More traffic...and lots of beautiful children who we cannot wait to meet!!
"Wear helmet and be safe!"

Our version of "Wal-Mart" ... we'll be getting a few things here soon!

Some of the way things are done in this city...

We got to "meet" our new apartment, which we hope to move in within the next week or so.

We had to stop off and "do" a currency exchange ... crossing both lanes of traffic was a little intimidating to say the least.
Cows...cows...cows!!

A GREAT lunch at "The Only Place" ... check out Noah's burger!!

A couple little places we were excited to see!!
After a long day, we were soon back at the guest house. It may not be our permanent home, but it home sweet home for now and we will rejoice and be glad in it!!

Cute apartment! McDonald's?!!! So glad for your sake that things have changed since I was there.

Glad Noah is on the mend.

Oh, don't you just love seeing the cows in the road?

I cannot wait to come to visit...you get yourself acquainted with the places you love the best, and some of us from the States will see you for sure.
I am so excited for you and thrilled that Noah is better.
Call when you can.
The apartment looks wonderful. Happy days!!!

I am sooo thankful for this blog. It lets us see and feel a part of everything. Could not believe the traffic and all the lanes and the COW was so funny. Are they wild? Was so pleased with the way the apartment looked. So clean and modern looking. Elizabeth's bed looked rather hard...LOL Still wondering how you are going to dry all those wet clothes!!! Thank's so much for sharing and know we are right here waiting and loving each and every one of you. Mama
