Praying for our niece

Our niece has scoliosis and got fitted with her back brace today. We are glad to hear that it is thin and won't require her to get larger clothes in order to wear it and that she will be able to continue playing softball. Our prayer is for her healing and that this brace will do its job and prevent later surgery. We pray that God uses this to strengthen her dependency on Him and to grow her in His grace as she encounters classmates who may tease her.
"Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others." Colossians 3:13

"You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you," Matthew 5:43-44.

"In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Je$us Christ is revealed." 1 Peter 1:6-7
