Goodbye ... again!!

Goodbyes never get easier. No matter how much we try and make ourselves feel better by saying it's just "see ya later", it's still very, very hard, especially after our last goodbyes would be the last time we'd see someone so very special to us. It's what we're supposed to do for this season of our lives, though, and we continue to depend on the Father to help ease the pain of distance.

Airport Day ... we were once again blessed by getting some special gate passes that allowed us to stay together until we boarded the plane. It's become a tradition now to have lunch at Burger King before leaving the states.

We're so happy that Grandmother's BEST friend in the world, Aunt Donna, could step in for Poppie. Last time we left, we had no idea that it would be the last time we'd see him alive. Thank you, Donna, for helping complete the day! You ARE a part of our family and we love you so much!

We never realized until this picture that Noah is just about to outgrow his Grandma! :)

Reading one last book to Grandmother....

Carmen ... another one of our precious friends!!

Flying into Chicago....

About to touch down in London .... a long, long trip but the Father sustained us and gave us answered prayers of safe travels and luggage that followed us to South Asia! Thank You, Father!

Joanna and Steve,
I've been reading your blog for a maybe 2 months now - Maribeth passed on the address.
I thought I would post to you (couldn't find a link for your email address on the site?) to pass on my condolences for the loss of your dad, father-in-law, and Grandpa.
We actually just returned from FL ourselves, as Eric's father passed on just about a week ago from a major stroke, as well. Sounds like we are walking a similar road right now.
Our hearts walk with you through this time.
Many Blessings,
Eric and Amanda Fadely
