Passport Day!!!

We had such a fun time taking the kids to get their passports. We have completed stacks upon stacks of paperwork over the past year, including passport forms, but we are trying hard to take the advice we received from a friend a couple years ago, one who has been down this road before -- "Enjoy the journey!" Saturday, we enjoyed this part of the journey.

For Grandmother and Cousin Niki, here's one of Emma looking a little less "scared!" :)

Habakkuk 2:14 - "For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea."

Noah looks excited, Emma looks scared to death and where is my Elizabeth? Another step completed!!! Sad and glad at the same time.

Emma does look scared!! Bless her little heart!! Exciting time for the family, but a realization for the rest of the family that this time next year, you all will not be here!! : ( Love you all!

That's so funny that ya'll agree! Emma wasn't really scared though. Maybe apprehensive and uncertain would describe her at that moment! :o)
Elizabeth was there too...she was a big girl and went in for her photograph without us so we didn't get a snapshot of that. And she hates the picture they took....of course she does!...because do women ever like any picture of themselves?!!

We look back at our pictures and laugh! K was so tiny Aaron had to hold up her head and Benjamin had poison ivy. Continue to "enjoy the journey", it is amazing to watch the Lord's hand at work.
