A great journey with great friends!!

Little did we know when our journey first began that He would lead us to this city with a family who has since become our forever-heart friends. We were appointed together, we went through orientation together, we came here together, we went through language together, we went through culture shock together, we celebrated our first Chr!stmas without family together, we cried together, we laughed together, we talked to the Father together. Our kids adore one another and we love praising Him together. Their paths were recently redirected and though we miss them terribly, we know that our hearts will be forever connected.

This is a shot from the first week in our new city ... still a little jet-lagged and a whole lot of culture shock was going on, but what a gift it was to arrive here at the same time!!

The "three little girls" on our first shopping excursion .... they grew to love one another as sisters!!

Not only were they the closest of friends, they were also our partners in ministry!! This was from a day of serving lunch to a large group of underprivileged children. It has been a blessing serving with our friends.

With a total of 7 children (eventually 8), dull moments were rare.

Going out to eat together was always an adventure....

And birthday celebrations were ALWAYS fun!!

Experiencing a new culture together drew us even closer....

McDonalds after church became a weekly tradition!

Our first Thanksgiving together....

And then there was our first Chr!stmas together ... lots of food, lots of singing, lots of fun!!!

Singing Chr!stmas carols around the piano.....

We even had a couple birthday parties at Hard Rock ... again, never a dull moment!!!

Swim time was always a fun time!!

Elizabeth's Hard Rock birthday the month after we moved here .... we hardly knew anyone at that time, but it was a fun, fun night!!

Not really sure how much sleep actually took place, but sleepovers were always fun!!

Our last week together was bittersweet, but we took advantage of all free moments and spent as much time together as we could!! These pictures are from a play date at our apartment complex.

We had a "birthday party" for all the kids for the next year since we won't be together to celebrate. Lots of balloon action.....

It was a special day when we got to meet this little guy!!

One of our last official meals together before they set out on their next adventure!!

We may not be a part of one another's daily lives anymore, but you are never far from our thoughts. Thanks for being a part of this great journey with us. We love you all and miss your more than you can know!!
