Visiting a friend and her brother........

We were quite the spectacle....not sure white folk had ever been in this area!

Our friend's brother is on a motorbike, leading the way....we had a bit of trouble squeezing our too large vehicle through some of these spots!

Inside her brother's tiny 3 room home....there was a living room, a kitchen, and a bedroom. No bathrooms.

Walking down a bit further to go to our friend's home. Inside there was a living room, kitchen and a storage area with a tin roof. There were straw mats for the floor for seating and sleeping. There is electricity in shifts, but I don't think there was running water. I believe people in areas like this collect water in water pots from city trucks that come by. And no bathroom.

We gave her our tv instead of trying to move it and you'd have thought we'd have given her a million dollars, she was grateful.

Walking back towards the car. Steve was stuck at the visa office working on issues there and was unable to come, so it was just me and the kids. Elizabeth was our wonderful photojournalist.
The children tapped on her and said "photo photo photo!" so she took their picture and turned her camera so they could see.

This little guy with a jacket but no britches on was so sweet.

We are so grateful to the Father that we had this time to visit our dear friend before we move.
