We don't normally start the new school year until after Labor Day, but with the little "bumps in the road" that come up here and there, we decided to dive in yesterday with full force. And with any good school year, there are always fun field trips, so we decided to take our friends up on the invitation to check out the Science Museum here in our city. We knew it was going to be a great day when we saw these furry friends just outside the entrance. Our friends in the northern part of the city have actually had monkeys break into their home and steal food, but since we don't have them around our home, we're still in that "oh-my-gosh-there-are-monkeys-in-the-tree" stage.

The dinosaur exhibit was the first thing we saw....

And then the fun really began ... so many hands-on things for the kids (and adults) to check out.

"Head on a platter" exhibit ... not sure where the science really comes in, but you can imagine the fun Noah had with this one!!

Some kids having fun with the floating ball....

And then ours had to check it out!
Making music Emma-style....

A little math action....

A fun day for friends.....

This guy was wishin' he had Noah's hair. :)

Noah and Emma - future weather forecasters????

The way it used to be.....

A little stroll through a cell ... who couldn't get excited?!?! :)
Putting together a plant cell ... probably not the most exciting thing for these two guys, but they did it with ease.

Probably the hit of the day...

The "Emma FIFA" video game!!
The Human Pin Screen ... one of the favorites of the day!

Think Tom Hanks in the movie 'Big' ... Emma loved everything about this one!

Future construction workers maybe?!?!?!
