The girls still unpacking their things....
Our king-size bed ... or if you want to get technical, our two TWIN beds pushed together!! :)
Two gifts from our Father - the lake that we see each and every day we step out of our home (Noah actually went fishing there a couple days ago with one of his new buddies) and one of the many playgrounds that surround the complex.

The first day of school was a big deal, especially for Emma!! Their teachers are just amazing. The girls' teachers actually grew up serving with their families and Noah's teacher has served as well. They have had a terrific first week and are excitedly looking forward to learning what will eventually be used to prepare them for the next step!! This was taken on the way to school the first day.

Emma's teacher took this one for us...
Checkin' out things...all 3 kids have met other kids who will be living in our neighborhood in just a few months!!
Everyone is pretty comfortable in our new home, even in the shared great room. Elizabeth brought some puzzles and leaves them out for anyone to work on them. We had a great time tonight hanging out and playing games with some of the others who live there.

This picture is one of our favorites. Emma actually took it and it just reminds us that no matter where our Father takes us, as long as the 5 of us are together with His umbrella covering us, He can make it a home. The pink vase, the MP3 player, a few books and our meal time moments devotion ... just a few things from "home" that has made our new home feel like home.

Wow! that place brings back some memories for me!
Glad you are settling in...
I am so glad to have talked to you just now. It seems to be a beautiful place. God is good to give you such a peaceful place to reside for now.
Prayers for the five of you.
love you,
Carmen
Oh, how familiar it looks! So neat to see your touches of home. I think that will help you adjust to all new situations....especially having your own pillows. We all wag our wherever we go - on airplanes, cars, hotel rooms, meetings, etc. etc.
God Bless!
I'm having a blast catching up on your blog now that we are back in town! Thanks for sharing your continuing journey.
