One.Incredible.Moment.

We've had a Tanyard Springs cabin reserved for a few months now and after being on the road for the last several days, we were refreshed after spending last weekend in it. We loved everything about it, most especially the endless amount of His creation. Our time together on top of Petit Jean Mountain as a family was exactly what He knew we needed. Thank You, Father, for this incredible gift!!

We "watched" our laptop, we cooked, and we did a whole lot of playing....

No trip to Petit Jean is complete without a hike down to the falls....even though it was hot and strenuous!! It was so very well worth it.

Life through the eyes of a hammock....

One of our favorite things to do on top of Petit Jean is watch G*d take the sun and set it in the west. This trip was no different.

After the sunset, we made our way back to the cabin and caught fireflies, made smores, and even had a visit from a raccoon (who also enjoyed the smores).

Driving away was somewhat bittersweet as it will be many years before we make it back to this amazing little place tucked away on top of Petit Jean Mountain. He provided us with some great memories, though, and we will recall them often as we continue to follow Him to the other side of the world.
