Vacation Bible School ~ Outrigger Island

Our church had VBS all last week with over 500 kids participating. The most amazing thing about the number of kids is how many were unchurched. Birchman places a huge emphasis on reaching people outside of the church. We have 10-12 apartment complexes within a 2-3 mile radius, so the bus mininstry is one of the most important ministries to the church. Some of these children had speaking parts in the play, and many of their parents and grandparents came to watch their children. The message of Christ was presented through song and through the reading of Scripture. God used Outrigger Island to plant many seeds last night...in the hearts of those from the church as well as from outside the four walls of the church. Our kids had SO much fun!!!!
