M Arlington

We got a little taste of home today when we met some of the youth from our home church in Conway. There are about 25-30 youth/adults who will be working with M Arlington this week while another group of youth are serving in Brazil. We are only 20-30 minutes or so from the church where they're staying, so we drove over to give them a hearty Texas welcome late this afternoon!! We hung out with them at the church for a while and then all had dinner together at one of the best pizza places around. It is so neat to watch these kids who we have taught over the years grow up to be bold witnesses for Christ. We plan to work with them as much as possible while they're here and look forward to seeing how God works through this M. Please join us in praying for them this week.

One thing re-affirmed through our time together...no matter where God takes us, Woodland Heights will always be our home. These people were not just a part of our lives...they were like family to us, including Elizabeth, Noah and Emma.

Gotta love chaperones who lay down on the job...love you, Marti!!
