Mystery solved....

It has been the mystery called "What's that SMELL?!" It has been going on for a little while now, off and on. We have laughed about the scene in Facing the Giants when they finally figured out there was a dead rat in their floor vent. We initially thought maybe that's what happened here because we do have little 'friends' that we hear occasionally. But then it goes away and then comes back again in the same area...so that caused us to rearrange our theories to that of some sort of plumbing/drainage problem. Sure enough, that is the culprit. After some brave 'blue shirts' (seminary students/employees) crawled up under our house, the discovery was made. There was a pipe that had completely corroded away and the drainage was accumulating underneath our house, thus the SMELL! They fixed it, and spread some lime, and we are thanking God that its winter b/c things don't seem to smell as bad when its cold and hopefully when the Texas summer hits, it will be a distant memory! In the mean time we'll be keeping Air Wick in business!!!
