We recently took a Saturday morning drive up to Doi Suthep (doi means mountain), which is about a 20-25 minute drive from our house. We'd been here 6 weeks at the time and had been itching to check out the nature here. We were stunned when we walked upon this little treasure tucked away about half-way up the mountain. No matter where you go, you don't have to look too far to get a glimse of His creation.
Between the sounds of the water falling and the singing of the cicadas, Cookie, our newest ball of fur, wasn't really sure what to think about her first trip up a doi. The most exciting quality about Cookie, by the way, is that she doesn't jump fences ... yet!
We drove a little further and discovered a really great place to look out over our new city. During your conversations with Father, please talk to Him about the people we've come here to meet.
