A visit from a new friend

One of the biggest blessings we've experienced since moving here has been getting to know the people who work in and around our complex. The lady below is one of the many ladies that takes care of the floors throughout our particular block. She would barely even make eye contact when we first arrived, but the more we talked to her, the warmer she became. She speaks no English, but this morning we were able to understand that she wanted to come up sometime and "take a photo" with Emma. During working hours, she normally wears a uniform-type outfit, but when she rang our bell today, she was beautifully dressed in a sari as well as her jewelry. We are thankful for moments like these as they are a direct reminder of why we came here. We were also reminded that our relationships must be real before any ear will be tuned in to what He has to say.
