Friday night with friends

We were so excited to receive an invitation to a birthday party at our next door neighbor's house tonight. Our hearts have grown to love them as family and we look forward to seeing how far the Father takes our friendship. The young girl who had the birthday is the niece of our friends and will be staying here for a month. She and Elizabeth have spent a lot of time together over the past few days, and in that time, we have grown close to her as well as to her sister and mother. These are the flowers we bought for her ... made on the street corner as we watched. Price: around $4!!

And then the birthday girl goes around to feed everyone else ... many customs here that aren't practiced in the states. Family is a really big deal here!!
