Fresh mangos
Yes, friends ... mango season is in full bloom!! And we have some excited little people in our house (and big people). In the states, on the rare occasion that we bought mangos, they were about $3 each (in Fort Worth that is). Yesterday, we bought 14 for about 16 cents a piece. We decided today that they kind of taste like a fresh-out-of-the-orchard peach ... and since we haven't seen any peaches around here. that's a GOOD thing!!

ohhh...some friends of ours that are from India talk about how much they miss the mangoes! They say the ones here cannot even compare to the yumminess of the "real" fruit in India! I'm a little envious!!
Oh, I do miss the fresh fruit of Asia. nothing compares. Enjoy for me.

Soooo jealous!!! You know that is my very favorite fruit. Maybe this is the time of year to come to visit???
