Happiness is ... packages from home!!

What started out as a "normal" skype session with Grandma and Grandpa turned into a little piece of heaven for the kids (for all of us really, but the kids had no idea what was about to happen). We received our first package today but decided to wait and tell the kids so that their grandma and grandpa could watch their reactions. It is amazing to look back and see just how for granted we took the simple things in life ... like M & M's, Skittles, chocolate frosting, macaroni and cheese, cake mixes, muffin mixes, Kool-aid, Jello, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and much more!!

The box is finally open!

What an incredible gift technology is to our family. Here's a picture of Grandma and Grandpa watching us dig in!!

We can NOW make sugar cookies this Chr!stmas ... with colored sugar sprinkles!! We're going to make Monster cookies with M & M's!!
