There were close to 40 people who came...some were Noah's friends from church, but most were our neighbors who we have just grown to love since moving to seminary. We had hot dogs, chips w/7 layer dip, cake, a watermelon boat (thanks Josh and Robin) and kool-aid!!

We divided the kids up into 4 teams and had a scavenger hunt that was held across 2 yards. There were 11 different stations and they couldn't move on to the next station until the clue was figured out and completed. Each team had an adult to help out...not sure if the kids or adults had the most fun!

God has blessed us with some great new neighbors and friends...we are especially thankful for the Mensinger's and the Lowe's and how He used them today!!
After the scavenger hunt, we played lots of games, including a water balloon toss..
An egg race...which turned into a "hold-the-egg-in-your-hand-and-run" race!!
A "sponge Steve" game...which turned into everything but!

This is the day that the Lord has made - we will rejoice and be glad in it!! Thank all of you who have been praying leading up to this point!! It was an incredible day and we are thankful to have been a part of it. The picture below pretty much describes how we all felt by the end of the day!!!

What a day!!!!!!!!!Looks like everything was all you wanted and more. Was the pregnant woman Maria?I loved seeing the kids have so much fun......Elizabeth holding the little girl, Noah in the dogpile and precious little Emma totally wiped out...were all so precious to me. I think God worked some mighty miracles yesterday!!! I love you all so much. I am getting ready to go to the baby shower for Adalyn Grace. Mama

What a great time you all had! It's hard to believe that the guy with the balloon hat is the "Stevie" that I knew in high school--he was always SO serious back then! (NOT!) We are praying for you out here in Colorado!
Looks like you guys had an awesome day in more ways than one! I also wanted to comment on Steve's weight loss - WOW! Way to go & what an inspiration!!!!!
