Praise the Lord for answered prayer

We have much good news to report! Steve's dad does NOT have lung cancer. He has a very bad case of pneumonia and chest infection which resulted in kidney failure. He has been in ICU for a little over a week but thankfully was taken off the ventilator today and remains in stable condition with improved kidney function. Hopefully he will be moved out of ICU very soon and will continue to improve overall but we are amazed at what a difference a week makes! Additionally, my aunt who was also in ICU at the same hospital has improved and was to be transferred out of ICU. She is still a very sick woman, but we so very enjoyed getting to visit with her during our stay there. We can't wait to see what God has in store as a result of this experience...there have been various lessons for so many of us, all affirming that God surely is in control of all things, big and small. See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands....Isaiah 49:16a

Oh, what a blessing! My sister in law has had lung cancer for almost a year but it has been isolated to that one lung so far and the spots are getting smaller, that is our blessing...keep us informed.
