The family getaway to Phuket was something that we will always look at as a gift from the Father. As a family, our hearts grew closer to one another as well as to Him. We played, we laughed, we ate, but more than anything, we were able to really reflect on the One who called us here. We are a family living nowhere near perfection but with a renewed sense of what He created us to do long before we knew it. And in the process, we had a blast just being together!!

One of most fun things we did was eat at a restaurant with a Flintstones setting. The place was called Dino Park, which included the restaurant as well as a pretty awesome minature golf course. We attempted to start a game after dinner, but we didn't really want to play in the rain. Not sure if our waitress was Wilma or Pebbles.
This may be Fred ... or Barney ... or maybe even Bamm-Bamm????
Since it rained the night before, they let us come back the next day. After the photo shoot on the beach, we caught a tuk-tuk back to Dino Park and played 18 holes.

We then walked to a restaurant where we had just been given discount coupons to. We had no idea what we were about to walk through and eventually see ... lush gardens and an incredible ocean view while we ate lunch!

After lunch, we caught another tuk-tuk back to the hotel ... yes, you climb up in the back of it and hang on ... TIGHT!!

We spent our last couple days getting in as much pool time, sand time, and ocean times as possible!! Not sure we've ever had as much fun as a family.....
This isn't Dino, but rather an elephant "parked out front." A husband and wife team apparently walk their pet up and down the streets letting people pet it (and selling bananas to those willing to fork out 60 cents for 5 bananas ... of course we had to do this).
Pineapple trees, banana trees, mango trees, and star trees ... just a few of the many fruit trees nestled underneath the boardwalk leading to the restaurant.
