Emma on the ride to the harbor....
We couldn't wait to get there....
One of the many beaches that just appeared out of nowhere.....
The bottom fell out during snorkel time and by the time we docked at the island, it was raining harder than ever. They had lunch waiting on us at one of the hotels there ... a lazy susan filled with all kinds of food.

We had some time on the island after lunch .... the rain had cleared out a little, but it was still raining some. Didn't stop the beach dwellers though!! It was an amazing beach!!

This is a man named Inron who owns a kayak shop on this beach. He shared with us that he was working on this very beach when he looked out and saw the tsunami waves coming his way. He was able to escape the waters, but it killed his parents as well as his wife and 7 month old daughter. It's one thing to see it on TV but another thing to be standing where so many lives were lost by those powerful waters.
As were getting ready to leave, the rain stopped. We were able to get a few more shots of this island that is tucked so far away.

We decided to ride inside on the way back ... and so glad we did. The waters were pretty rough going back.

The rain had stopped completely by the time we docked, but even with the rain, we were still as happy as we could be. It was an incredible day and one that will be etched in our hearts forever. We continue to thank the Father for this unexpected gift in getting to see a part of His creation that we never dreamed we would see!!
