Steve has a 3rd cousin whose husband has also enrolled full time in Seminary this fall and his wife and young daughter moved here from SE Arkansas just a few days before we did. He got a job working at Dillard's in the women's shoe department where he gets commission from his sales. It is such a huge praise for him to have gotten this job after searching all summer and we were so excited for them. I spoke on the phone to a dear friend and mentor about this and she said we should pray for him to sell a $250 pair of shoes so he will get really good commission. Thursday was his first night to be on the sales floor and wouldn't you know that his first sale was a $250 pair of shoes! Don't you just love seeing God at work?!
