2 very important stones that we moved with us to Texas! One is our EBENEZER STONE which is our standing stone that has been a part of our lives since our journey began in 2006. God had us place this stone at the beginning of a hallway in our house that led to the front door. And every time He did something that was M/Seminary related, we would move the stone a little closer to the door. We have seen God work in countless ways...all of the funding for seminary and M related things He has called us to do, He has provided funding for in ways outside our normal means...MIRACULOUS WAYS! We were signed up to go to Thailand for a M trip summer 2007, which the Lord halted and we were greatly confused b/c all the details had been worked out for us to go. Later, God made very clear His purpose in that! The very day we were to fly out, there were 2 young girls that accepted Christ in my VBS class (one doesn't have to leave home to share the Lord!)....and during the time we were to be away is the very time that God worked out EVERY DETAIL for our move to Fort Worth and for Steve to be a full time seminary student as well as continue with his current job. God told me on July 17th, "Write down today's date because..." (Ezekiel 24:2) so I did and later that day we were placed in seminary housing. The list goes on....."The Lord is wonderfully good to those who wait for him and seek him." (Lamentations 3:25)
The other stone is our STEPPING STONE that my sweet daddy brought to TX unbeknownst to me. He pulled that out as we were unloading the truck and said he thought we might appreciate having it and how appropriate that it is a stepping stone signifying this very large step in our journey. Wow...what a treasure that brings tears to my eyes every time I see it. Thanks Dad!
