Clubhouse fun

It's been awhile since the kids have actually had a yard to romp around in. They are loving the freedom of just walking out the door and touching grass with their feet, riding their bikes, or just kicking a ball. Last weekend they decided to build a "clubhouse" ... they found things around the house - old paint tarps, bricks, chairs, boards, etc. and went to town. Welcome to their castle on the grass!!

Laying the brickwork....

Future interior designers????

The roof is made from Jack Martin fruit trees limbs and a few banana leaves.

And speaking of bananas ... these are growing right above their clubhouse. We're thinking they'll be ready in a couple weeks!!

It has been a neat thing to watch the kids get reaquainted with creative play. They even got Cookie in on the action. Thank You, Father, for the gift of playtime.

They were all pretty dirty, especially Cookie ... so Noah gave her a "sprinkler bath" before heading in for the night! :)
