This is some kind of cooking oil....it was in the most shopped section of all the oils, so I figure it should be the best choice, but how do ya know?
Our drinking water is delivered in these bottles every Sunday. We have a water dispenser coming in our crate, but in the meantime, we found this siphon to use.
Farm fresh chicken eggs that come packaged as 2 1/2 dozen! WOW! They aren't in the cooler section of the store, but they are clean and packaged which is so nice. We also have learned that the brown eggs are chicken eggs and the white ones are duck eggs.
Yummy tasting orange juice....we are so spoiled!
AND milk in a carton in the cooler section. This is soooo great. There are even gallon size containers of it, but this size fits better in our fridge.
Our stove seems to be a regular size instead of our previous EZ Bake oven size....so awesome. The burners are gas and the oven part is electric. My oven thermometer is in the crate so I'm looking forward to seeing if its calibrated any better than our last one. And its all in Celsius, so we must convert still.
This is one of our air conditioners. They are made to cool one room. We run them mostly at night and turn the kids' off after they go to sleep. They always complain of being cold. Us old folks prefer to have ours on all night though.

This nifty little thing is in each shower and provides continuous hot water for the length of your shower. Its electric and a little piece of heaven on earth!!
Our lovely blue pipes in the bathrooms....
This is our ant cabinet. All food that is not in the fridge is kept in here. And the feet rest in little bowls that have an outer ring filled with baby powder to keep the ants from marching in.
This is the view from the kitchen window. Notice the tilted glass to have open windows...there's a little hand crank to open and shut these. And the back wall with the metal security railing is the outer wall of our neighborhood. We have a side and front yard, but not much back yard as you can see.
This is our new dryer....yippee! I haven't used it yet...it was nice and sunny today.
These are our water tanks for the running water in our house. The little roof thing houses our pump.
We have heard there used to be water shortages in our neighborhood, but we haven't had any problems yet, thankfully.

I didn't know baby powder would keep ants out--I may have to try that with our dog's food bowl!
I LOVE reading and seeing pics of your life. I think Mike needs to start planning a trip to come visit you with some students.
